I started making jewellery & other crafty things about three or four years ago. Starting with cutesy, kitsch kind of stuff, & then made a jump towards more Victorian, Steampunk & Gothic designs, dabbling with a bit of silver along the way. I've taken commissions for my work & the majority of these pieces are one of a kind.

Cluster Necklace

Taking a small deviation from the world of steampunk, I decided to give attention to some beautiful swallow & locket charms I bought a hundred years ago. Using lots of gorgeous little brass & bronze components I came up with these quite beautiful, little cluster charm necklaces. On long chains, with sumptuous crystal glass beads, a locket, swallow & tiny flowers.

Hot Air Balloon

I bid on some pretty 26mm ribbed beads on ebay, when they arrived I was wondering what I could do with them. I'd had an idea to make a Jules Verne/Around the World in 80 Days Bracelet, using a smaller version of the ribbed beads, however, these were far too big for the bracelet. So they ended up being used for, what I think are, quite sweet little pendants.

Optometrist Necklace

An optometrist lens necklace.
I really love using optometrist lenses in my jewellery. They really embody the victorian & steampunk style, for me anyway. ^.^

This one is smaller than usual, brass, antique (goodness knows how old!)

The lens is really thick, the patina is beautiful.
I attached a tiny bee stamping, swag connector & tiny pearl beads, brass drops & old watch gears. It has a very pretty toggle clasp too.

I know i've made a few of these quite similar, but, what the hell, they are prettyful!
